Brand Push Review – Is Their Service Any Good?

by Tom Kotze

Brand Push offers one of the most popular “as seen on” digital PR services. Is it worth investing in for your business?

Being able to boast an “as seen on USA Today” badge on your website is certainly impressive. Brand Push lets you do this relatively easily with their straightforward news publishing service.

For this Brand Push review, I tried the service out for myself to see just how legitimate it is. I’ll cover what my experience looked like ordering the press release, reviewing it, and how it was published.

Let’s dive into it!

Overall Brand Push Review

I give Brand Push 4 stars out of 5.

Pros

  • Easy and efficient online ordering process
  • Good customer service
  • Guaranteed publishing on 200 news sites
  • A fast PR service
  • Includes trust badges

Cons

  • Not the best quality press release
  • Only two free revisions

Conclusion

Brand Push does three things very well. They provide an easy PR service, they offer good customer support, and they get your press release published on 200 quality sites.

However, their service falls short in terms of the quality of the press release. It seems like distributing and publishing is their main focus, without the quality of their press release content getting enough attention.

If you’re after trust badges and an efficient news publishing service, then Brand Push is a great choice. If you would like high-quality PR for your business, it might be a good idea to look into another “as seen on” service.

At the time of writing this review, Brand Push has an impressive 4.8-star rating on Trustpilot. A lot of customers rave about the overall experience of using Brand Push. Besides a few unhappy customers, it seems like Brand Push offers a trustworthy service.

After going through a few review articles online, it seems like Brand Push does some great work. There were a few negative comments about the overall quality of this service, but in general, customers have good things to say.

My Brand Push Experience

Now it’s time to try out Brand Push for myself to see just how good their service is.

In this Brand Push review, I’ll walk you through my experience with this company - from ordering an article to getting it distributed.

Ordering an Article

To get started with Brand push, you simply select your service and place your order. For this Brand Push review, I went for the “Plus” service.

You start by adding in your business details.

A quick note here - I liked the option that you can choose to have an account manager email you about the service. I chose this option because it makes things more personal, and it’s nice to have contact with a person working on your PR.

Next, you choose whether you want your article published on standard popular or alternative news sites (for an extra $59). This was an option I did not experience in my BrandFeatured Review. I chose the popular news sites option.

Then you provide the topic and keyword ideas for your article.

You add in your contact details and your basic website information, and then it’s time to pay.

A smooth and straightforward process.

I liked that they gathered a lot of information from me, including things like a keyword that I would like to target (optional). After ordering, I felt like I had provided the Brand Push writer with a very clear brief about my business.

As they promised, an account manager reached out to me the next day, confirming my order and business details. Having this direct line of communication was a nice touch.

Pricing

Brand Push offers three different pricing options. These are:

  • Starter: $195
  • Plus: $229
  • Pro: $259

The Starter package publishes your existing article across a guaranteed 200 news publications. The Plus option is where you get a 350-word article written and published across a guaranteed 200 news publications. The Pro package is the same as the Plus except that your article is 500 words, and you get unlimited revisions.

Turnaround Time

Brand Push advertises an estimated delivery date of seven days. True to their promise, my article was ready within this timeframe. This is one of the speedier “as seen on” services.

Content Quality

I’ll get straight to it - this is where Brand Push falls short.

Their pricing is attractive and their service is very slick. However, the overall quality of the press article I received far from blew me away.

The 350-word article offered a very vague overview of my business. There were no pull quotes, no attribution, and I’m not sure the writer really understood what they were covering. It felt very rushed.

Luckily, I had two free revisions and a direct line with the account manager. So, after some changes, I was happy to have the press release distributed to the news publications.

From my experience, it would have been easier to hire a writing service to create a high-quality press release, and simply use Brand Push for distribution.

Published Articles

Brand Push did exactly what they said they would do. They got my article published in over 200 news publications, including affiliates of high-profile news sites.

5 days after approving my article, I received a report with all of the links. This included local affiliates of Fox and USA Today.

The Results

Besides generating some good PR for my business, this service allows you to add an “as seen on Fox” badge to your website. This trust badge came included with the link report, so it was easy to add it to my site.

After this, my website certainly looked more professional. I also noticed a slight increase in conversions on the pages that displayed this trust badge.

Brand Push delivered on what they said they would, so I was happy overall. Although, it’s important to know what other “as seen on” services exist. This could have resulted in a better quality press release.
